Lyxor Asset Management (Lyxor)
Three of them will track US stocks and the third will provide access to the MSCI World Index.
These new ETFs offer the ability to track four of the world’s most important indices through shares traded on the London Stock Exchange. All four new ETFs feature highly competitive total expense ratios of between 0.30% and 0.50% p.a. The details of the four new Lyxor ETFs are as follows:
Lyxor ETF Dow Jones Industrial AverageTM (GBP) – LSE Code: LIND The Dow Jones Industrial AverageTM is a price–weighted average of leading blue-chip stocks. It covers all industries except Transportation and Utilities. The index grew by 6.43% in 2007, 16.29% in 2006 and fell 0.61% in 2005.
The Lyxor ETF Dow Jones Industrial AverageTM is the first LSE-listed ETF to track the “Dow” and has a total expense ratio (TER) of 0.50% p.a.
Lyxor ETF MSCI USA (GBP) – LSE Code: LMUS The MSCI United States Index monitors the performance of around 85% of the stock market capitalisation of the US. The index grew by 4.09% in 2007, 13.18% in 2006 and 3.80% in 2005. The total expense ratio (TER) of the Lyxor ETF MSCI USA (GBP) is 0.35% p.a.
Lyxor ETF Nasdaq-100® (GBP) – LSE Code: LNSQ The Nasdaq-100® Index consists of 100 of the largest and most active non-financial domestic and international issues listed on the Nasdaq®. The index grew by 18.67% in 2007, 6.79% in 2006 and 1.49% in 2005. The total expense ratio (TER) of the Lyxor ETF Nasdaq-100® (GBP) is 0.30% p.a.
Lyxor ETF MSCI World (GBP) – LSE Code: LWOR The MSCI World Index is designed to measure the market performance of developed markets. As of February 2008, the MSCI World Index consisted of 23 developed market countries with 1945 companies. The index grew by 7.09% in 2007, 17.95% in 2006 and 7.56% in 2005.
The total expense ratio (TER) of the Lyxor ETF MSCI World (GBP) is 0.45%.
