Kris’ appointment follows the departure of Danny Laidler, ANZ ETFS Co-head and Head of Distribution, and Adam Smith, ANZ ETFS Co-head and Chief Operating Officer, who will be departing at the end of September. Both played a role in setting up the joint venture and ensuring the first suite of products was successfully launched on the Australian Securities Exchange. Commenting on the appointment, Graham Tuckwell, Chairman and Founder of the ETF Securities Group, said: “We are delighted that Kris has agreed to move to Australia to head this very important new business.
