Ossiam Appoints New Partners

Ossiam announces that the company has made Aous Labbane, Head of Business Development, and Alexandre Duriez, Co-Head of Investment Management and Research, partners in the company….

Aous Labbane has been leading Ossiam’s business development programme since January 2018.

Alexandre Duriez shares leadership of the portfolio management and research team with Tristan Perret. Alexandre joined Ossiam in May this year.

Bruno Poulin, CEO, Ossiam, said, “The admission to partnerships is recognition of Alexandre and Aous being key members of our senior management team. Their experience and expertise strengthen Ossiam’s capabilities for the firm’s growth and development.”

Mr Duriez joined Ossiam from Barclays Investment Bank, where he was a managing director responsible for global investment strategy trading since 2009. Previously, he was with Merrill Lynch International as Head of Fund Linked Derivatives Trading for five years and Société Générale Asset Management for three years. He is a graduate of Institut Supérieur de l’Aéronautique et de l’Espace-Supaero, Toulouse, France, and holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the Toulouse School of Economics.

Mr. Labbane spent most of his career at Credit Suisse, where he was global head of structuring for fund linked products and head of EMEA equity structuring. He established the bank’s systematic investment strategies division in Europe, focusing on smart beta and risk premia indices. Prior to Credit Suisse, he held various positions at Société Générale Asset Management and Dresdner Kleinwort Benson. He holds a Master’s degree in Probability and Finance (1998). He graduated from Ecole Nationale des Techniques Avancées, Paris, France (1998) and from Ecole Polytechnique (1996), also in Paris.
