Rize ETF, Europe’s first specialist thematic ETF issuer, announces the appointment of Emanuela Salvadè as Head of Italian speaking regions, with the task of running the activities on the Italian market.
The appointment is a fundamental step in the company’s strategic plan towards the building of the Italian business and its subsequent development on this market.
Rize ETF was founded in UK in 2019 by managers with a long track record in the ETF sector. Indeed, its founding team – Rahul Bhushan, Stuart Forbes, Anthony Martin and Jason Kennard – has previously managed the Canvas platform of ETF Securities for years, in particular dealing with the development and implementation of the most innovative and appreciated investment solutions.
The company has a solid, international growth project and Italy represents an important step in this path of building and expanding Rize ETF’s distribution capabilities in Europe.
Emanuela brings to Rize ETF over 10 years of experience in the financial sector, and in ETFs in particular, together with a deep knowledge of the Italian market. During her career she acquired knowledge of the industry operating both on the technical side of market research and analysis and on portfolio and ETF advisory.
Emanuela joins Rize ETF from Macquarie Bank where she was London-based and dealt with the sales and trading activities of ETFs for the European and Asian markets, actively contributing to the development of the business in those areas.
Previously, she was ETF Sales Associate of WisdomTree Europe for the Italian and Swiss market, where she played an important role in the growth of the company’s business, focusing in particular on the most innovative investment solutions.
For five years she worked in EFG Bank, first in the Strategy & Research area as Macroeconomic and Fixed Income Analyst and then as Investment Specialist in portfolio advisory, where she also supported the Swiss Private Banking team.
Emanuela holds a bachelor degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Bocconi University of Milan and a Master of Science in International Management & Finance from the Esade Business School in Barcelona.
Rahul Bhushan, Co-Founder of Rize ETF, affirmed: “Here at Rize ETF, we are pioneering a new way of investing. One that far better resonates with the modern-day investor, one that offers the opportunity to look at the global megatrends and the great changes that are happening around us. Our team is the one who brought thematic ETF investing to Europe, with the launch of Europe’s first Robotics ETF in 2014 and Europe’s first Cybersecurity ETF in 2015. We see increasing interest in innovative ETFs on the Italian market. Emanuela, thanks to her knowledge of the market, will be a fundamental resource in our path of growth and development. We are really pleased to welcome her to the team.”
