“I’m very pleased to welcome both Marcus and Philipp,” said Gea Smolic, Director of German Sales. “They add depth to the team and enhance our ability to address the client opportunity in Germany, a market that features sophisticated investors across institutions, wealth managers and private banks. Over the past year, we have seen Germany become WisdomTree Europe’s  third most important market in terms of asset gathering, and we believe there is a real appetite for innovative ETFs in this market.”

Earlier this year, WisdomTree celebrated its one-year anniversary of listing its UCITS ETFs on the Deutsche Börse Xetra. Since January 2015, WisdomTree has seen monthly trading volumes of both its UCITS ETFs and Boost Short & Leverage ETPs nearly double. There are now 13 WisdomTree UCITS ETFs and 26 Boost ETPs listed on Xetra.
